Mil-spec AR-15 triggers typically have an 8 to 9 pound trigger pull with factory springs. Utilizing the KVP Reduced Power Spring Kit should achieve a trigger pull reduction of 2 to 4 pounds. A 5 to 6 pound trigger pull is typical after installation of the KVP Reduced Power Spring Kit.
The KVP reduced power springs are designed to reduce trigger pull weight in Single Stage triggers. Due to the magnitude of triggers on the market, KVP can not guarantee that ALL triggers will adequately detonate ALL cartridges. We recommend high quality brass cased ammunition loaded with commercial primers for the best results. Installation should be performed or overseen by a competent gunsmith.
This kit is perfect for those who either already have their own stock, are building a stripped lower, or converting from a rifle (fixed) stock. It contains everything needed to install Mil-Spec stocks from Magpul, BCM, MFT, Luth-AR, and many others.
There are many ways to smooth the operation of a suppressed/big bore AR-15 Carbine. One of the most cost effective and quickest upgrades available, is the installation of a KVP™ H3 tungsten buffer. The KVP H3 utilizes three dense tungsten weights to achieve the 5.4 ounce buffer weight. There are many added benefits once you install a KVP™ H3 buffer. Benefits include: increased reliability, reduced wear and tear on critical internal parts, reduction in felt recoil, and reduction in bolt bounce. Manufactured to meet the highest quality, KVP™ Heavy H3 Tungsten Buffers are a great option for the AR-15 platform.
Kaw Valley Precision Linear Comps are part of a small family of compensators aimed at taming muzzle concussion. The KVP linear comp, collects and redirects muzzle gases away from the shooter. This redirection helps reduce the perceived decibels the shooter experiences at his or her ear. By pushing excessive noise and concussion downrange, not only will the shooter experience a much softer shooting experience, bystanders will also benefit from the redirection of the muzzle gasses. Kaw Valley Precision has been a part of many successful applications of our linear comps in many shooting disciplines including: CQC (close quarters combat), Competitive Shooting, Varmint Hunting, Law Enforcement, and Indoor Ranges to name a few.
